2011 FLAVAMEN BLATINO AWARDS NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
he third annual award show honors gay ethnic porn stars, websites, companies and more!

MIAMI, FL (June 20, 2011) FlavaMen® Magazine announces the nomination process has opened for the third annual gay ethnic awards, the Blatino Awards (BlatinoAwards.com). These awards honor ethnic clubs, adult performers, and websites in a variety of categories and will be administered by Flava Works.

"Three times is always a charm and the Third Annual FlavaMen Blatino Awards are going to be bigger and better than ever," said Dwight Allen O'Neal, Event Organizer. "Last year was incredible and this year will be even better, we are adding more categories, hosting at a larger venue, and bringing another celebrity host to really upgrade the event and make it bigger and better."

Nominations for the various categories are now open and nominations close July 10, 2011 while the voting process will last from July 11, 2011 until August 7, 2011. The Third Annual FlavaMen BlatinoAwards Ceremony will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, during Atlanta Gay Black Pride on September 2nd, 2011.

Some of the new categories added include: Best Black Club Midwest, Best Black Club - East Coast
Best Black Club - West Coast, Best Black Club South, Best Club DJ, Best YouTube Channel and
Best Gay Artist (singer, actor, personality, etc.).
Last year's hosts and presenters included Fantasia, Kelly Rowland, Dondria, Wendy Williams, Raz-B, Shanell aka SnL, CJ Wright and D-Woods. This year's hosts and presenters will be announced in late August.

Phaedra and Apollo are ReDICKulous!!!

So I don’t usually do television recaps or discuss what is happening on the hottest reality shows; however I have finally jumped on board with the Real Housewives of Atlanta band wagon. On last night I really enjoyed the show and when the Southern Belle Phaedra Parks brought up how she knows of a stripper that can give himself head, I thought about the FlavaMen Blatino Award nominee ReDICKulous and during the Watch What Happens Live after show Phaedra confirmed my guess by actually confirming ReDICKulous’ name… hmmm so of course every Tom, Dick, and Dwight Allen O'Neal is hoping that this confirms that Phaedra actually met her husband Apollo Nida while at Club 708 while ReDICKulous was performing and then ReDICKulous introduced the two, because Apollo was there getting over his ex boyfriend who left him while Apollo was locked up in jail and then Apollo was over men for a while and decided to swim with real fishes for a minute, until he meets the Gaylebrity Dwight Allen O'Neal… LOL… Okay wishful thinking, but on a serious note I would like to congratulate ReDICKulous for becoming a household name… Baby you have made it, you didn’t win that FlavaMen Blatino Award… But you are now known across the country for that wonderful talent that you have… sucking your own… you know the rest.

As a sidebar I do want to add, if you know any information about Apollo swimming in the MAN SEA, because he clearly stated (uncomfortably) that he has never gotten in the man pond, please let me know. Now of course I want this information, because I am a mermaid out in the MAN SEA, hell it’s too many of the gays in the pond, but the sea is so big you need guidance. ATLANTA,GA (September 14, 2010) – FlavaMen® Magazine today announced the winners of the 2010 FlavaMen Blatino Awards® held in Atlanta, GA during Labor Day weekend. These gay awards honor ethnic clubs, adult performers, and websites in a variety of categories and is administered by Flava Works.


The celebrities that co-hosted the second annual FlavaMen Blatino Awards® were Raz-B from the R&B boy band B2K, Shanell aka SnL from rapper Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment, D. Woods formerly from the group Danity Kane and CJ Wright. Some of the presenters that attended include 2010 XBIZ Transsexual Performer of the year star Wendy Williams, Bloggers Adam B. Irby, Drama Dupree, Sir Daniel, Newnue, and Romeo Redwine, and singer Anye Ellite.


The celebrities that performed during the second annual FlavaMen Blatino Awards® were American R&B singer-songwriter Dondria from So So Def Recordings, R&B singer and performer Kelly Rowland and R&B singer and American Idol winner Fantasia.

Flavaworks Presents THE 2nd Annual FlavaMen Blatino Awards

MIAMI — FlavaMen Magazine has announced the nominations for its second annual porn awards, the FlavaMen Blatino Awards.
The awards honor ethnic clubs, adult performers and websites in a variety of categories and will be administered by Flava Works .

“We have a diverse group of nominees and we’re looking forward to having the public vote for their choices,” says Warren Bullock, Flava Works operations manager. “Based on feedback from last year we've added more categories and in general it's our goal to up the ante in every aspect.”

Voting for the various categories is now open to the public and the deadline to vote is Aug. 15.

The 2nd Annual FlavaMen Blatino Awards ceremony will be held in Atlanta during the city’s Gay Black Pride on Friday, Sept. 3, and will be hosted by a major celebrity to be announced in late August.

2010 FlavaMen Blatino Awards

So on September 5, 2009 FlavaMen presented the first annual Blatino Awards. The event was very successful and many of the best in the adult entertainment industry came together to receive honors. This year the event is happening again in Atlanta during Labor Day Weekend, as we celebrate Pride and the best adult entertainers in the business.
